We also trade in fuel, and provide international bunkering service in the north of Maldives. Through our subsidiaries we are further involved in fuel distribution, gas, insurance and shipping.

While we continue to grow and diversify in business, our core mandate of securing accessibility of essential food, fuel, and medicine for the nation remains key. Our profit-oriented directions aim to garner the best value for our stakeholders, which in turn safeguards the core mandate.

With its fleet of fuel tankers and barges, FSM dispatches fuel across Maldives, covering resort and vessel deliveries, operation of fuel sheds, and more.

Maldive Gas supplies industrial and medical gas to hospitals and businesses and is also the top provider of liquefied petroleum gas in Maldives.

Insurance

Leading insurer of Maldives, Allied offers a suite of personal and business insurance and takaful products covering health, life, assets, property and business.

Shipping

Growing fleet and operation of MSS delivers shipping and logistical services including NVOCC, freight forwarding, liner, feeder, and agency services.

Island Branches

We have established distribution centers and outlets in the following locations, and STO Agents extend our reach to the rest of the nation. We also operate an STO Pharmacy on every inhabited island.

Credit Scheme

STO Credit Scheme was established in 1995 to provide an easy payment option for civil servants who wanted access to our products. The scheme became an overnight success. It is currently available to employees of government and state entities, SOEs, and our partner companies.
