Who may whistleblow?
STO provides an avenue for all employees, stakeholders and members of the public to report any improper conduct within the Company
What to whistleblow?
Possible improprieties include but are not limited to the following

Financial malpractice, impropriety, or fraud
This includes embezzlement, misreporting financial data, bribery, or any deceptive financial practices.

Failure to comply with a legal obligation, statutes, or company policies
Violations of laws, regulations, or internal policies, such as ignoring labor laws, breaching contracts, or non-compliance with workplace rules.

Dangers to health & safety or the environment
Situations that pose a risk to employees, customers, or the public, including unsafe working conditions, pollution, or hazardous waste mishandling.

Criminal activity
Any illegal actions within the organization, such as theft, corruption, fraud, or involvement in illicit activities.

Sexual harassment
Unwelcome sexual advances, inappropriate remarks, coercion, or any behavior that creates a hostile work environment.

Improper conduct or unethical behavior
Any actions that go against ethical standards, such as abuse of power, discrimination, conflicts of interest, or dishonesty.

Protection
The Whistleblower Policy of STO encourages disclosure of information and ensure protection to those employees of the Company who disclose such concerns, provided that the disclosure is made in good faith.
Retaliation against any employee that files a Report or voices a concern is strictly prohibited under the whistleblower policy.
Employees determined to have engaged in retaliatory behavior or who fail to maintain an employee's anonymity if requested may be subject to disciplinary action.
Any employee who feels that he or she has been subjected to any behavior that violates the Whistleblower Policy should immediately report to the relevant authority.
Employees who knowingly file misleading or false reports, or without a reasonable belief as to truth or accuracy, will not be protected by this policy and may be subject to disciplinary action.
