Transfer of shares in Mifco

Following the Cabinet Ministers meeting on 5th December 2023, today in a special ceremony held at the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, State Trading Organization Plc and Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives Pvt Ltd officially transferred shares of Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Pvt Ltd (MIFCO) to the Government of Maldives. The Share Transfer Agreement was signed in the presence of Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq, and witnessed by Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resource, Honourable Ahmed Shiyam.
