The outlet stocks 23 basic staples and consumer brands People’s Choice. To enhance convenience, customers can now place orders in Malé for collection at the Hulhumalé store. This expansion reinforces STO’s commitment to providing affordable essential goods and high-quality retail services to the community, including price stability throughout Ramadan.

Basic food items are the main foods essential for human growth and maintaining good health. This is considered one of the most important aspects of human life.

Under the government's policy to ensure basic food items used for consumption are available to the general public at affordable prices, 23 items have been added to the designated list of basic food staples (in addition to rice, sugar, and flour). These items have been released to the market and sales commenced on October 15, 2025.

All these items will be available at the STO Wholesale Center and STO People's Choice.
